Movement was my meditation before I knew I was meditating. When I would do cardio exercises I would get lost in the rhythm of walking, running or Soulcycle-ing. It felt so good to move my body and relieved so much stress and anxiety that I was holding onto. I continue to have movement be part of my morning practice most mornings. To move and sweat helps us move our energy in a productive way and elevate our vibration.
Kundalini Kriyas do this as well. In addition to aligning our chakras and strengthening our aura, Kundalini has healing and elevating effects on the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual level. Each Kundalini Kriya (exercise set) has a physical intention. For example a Kriya could have a focus on a specific organ, system of the body, or our spiritual bodies. Regardless of its specific intention, this leaves you feeling “blissed out” and relaxed.
